Garba Night

2024- Eight Garba night in Red Deer by Hindu Culture Society of Central Alberta ( HCSCA) details.

Following are the details-

Band - Live band from India

Singers- Canadian and Indian Talent.

Date: October 14 (Monday)- 2024

Timing- 5 to 9 pm. 

Venue: Festival Hall, Red Deer

Parking - Free

Dandiya sticks - Will be provided free of cost to play in the event only. Limited quantities. If you have one, please bring pair for yourself.

Motivation- Trophies ???? to winners in each category. 

1) Best two Garba players- Male and Female 

2) Best two Garba traditional dressed persons- Male and Female .

3) Prizes of kids ( below 10 years) dressed in traditional Garba dresses. Limited quantity.

(Judges decision will be final in all categories).

Entry - Free- All are welcome. No entry tickets.

( We accept donations to cover the cost of the event. Any donations above $20 will get tax receipt.)????

Food Sponsor- Buster Pizza!! free pizza slice and pop. (till quantities last)

Tentative Agenda/ plan is as follows

1) 5:00 to 5:40pm- Be tali

2) 5:50 to 6:30 pm - Tran  tali

3) 6:30 to 6:45 pm -Aarti

4) 6:45 to 7:20 - Pizza break and address by Dignitries

5) 7:30 to 8:15 pm Dandiya Raas

6) 8:20 to 9:00 pm- Sanedo, Kaka Bapa na etc.

7) 9:00 to 10:00 pm cleanup

PLEASE BE ON TIME AT 4:45 pm FOR MAXIMUM FUN. ????????

Note- HCSCA can make any changes  in any / all parts of this Garba program if situation demands.
