Welcome to Hindu Cultural Soceity of Central Alberta

Central Alberta Cultural Centre

Our Challenge

Approximately 400 happy Hindu families live in Central Alberta.

There is 0 dedicated place to celebrate Hindu Culture and heritage in Central Alberta

No dedicated place to host Hindu festivals, Art, Music and demonstrate Hindu traditions to Central Albertans.

No dedicated place for Hindu seniors & Hindu kids to organize summer camps.

No dedicated place to offer lessons for kids about Hindu philosophy, scriptures, language, and cultural practices.

Community members travel to other bigger cities to get their kids train in traditional Indian/classical music and languages.

It is DIFFICULT to pass on HINDU heritage, culture, and customs to the next generation in Central Alberta.
